This automatic visual inspection system utilizes specialized optical design and advanced image processing technology to reliably perform “automatic inspection and selection” of surface flaws such as fine scratches, dents, and dirt on metal pipe processed parts. By quantifying the depth and size of surface scratches and indentations and objectively and precisely identifying the quality of each element, it eliminates the variation in visual inspection relied upon by human eyes.
In conjunction with the introduction of this system, we conduct investigations into the causes of defects and strive to eliminate them by providing feedback to the production process.
